What is Low Point Distance in Trackman?
Our golf swing is in a curve. The low point will explain where the curved and lowest point of the golf club in our swing is, compared to the impact point. It is another way to explain the Attack angle.
How is Low Point Distance in Trackman displayed?
The low point distance in Trackman will show the distance between the impact point and the lowest point of the club in inches. It will also tell you whether the lowest point of the club is before or after the impact.
How important is Low Point?
If we have the wrong Low Point for each club, we will have bad ball contact. For example, if we use an iron, the appropriate Low Point should be after impact. In other words, the lowest point of the club should be in front of the golf ball. On the contrary, the Low Point distance of the Driver should be before impact.
