I would like to give some brief advice for yourfuture in golfing and that you don’t get discouraged too early.
Starting to play golf in the right and sustainable way requires a good swing foundation, including good swing techniques, choosing the right equipment, understanding the rules, and practicing regularly.
- Learn the basics from experts (Professional golfers)
Learn the basics and postures (Grip, Stance, Posture, Swing) so that we have the correct swing and posture from the beginning. If we practice the wrong way, it can become a habit that is difficult to fix, which can lead to injuries. - Choose the right equipment
There are many types of golf clubs. If we choose without knowledge, it may be difficult to develop our skills. Initially, I would like to recommend irons or drivers that are in the Game improvement group. - Practice key skills in all aspects
Swing: Focus on developing the swing by analyzing the posture from the video and reading the values from the launch monitor to set goals. Then continue practicing in the driving range after practicing the swing.
Putting: Find a place where you can practice reading the line and speed of the green.
Short game (Chipping/Pitching): Practice the technique of controlling the ball to fall at the desired distance. Learn to control the running or stopping of the ball
Rules and etiquette: Golf is a sport with clear rules. We should understand it for a fun and correct golf game without embarrassing anyone. And another important thing is golf etiquette. Because golf is a sport that requires sharing the place with other players, we should understand and maintain good manners.

Every sport relies on training. No matter how much the golfers or beginners understand the swing, they might not perform well. What matters is the process or technique, which is not a skill. Sports or expertise requires training, plus the correct steps and techniques.
